Hello, I’m Maggie! I’m an artist and maker currently living in the greater Houston area in Texas with my husband Christian, our pup Georgia, and our marmalade cat Joe Fox.

I am a self-taught embroidery artist with an insatiable desire to create pretty much all the time. I decided to try my hand at embroidery right after graduating from a liberal arts university in 2017 with a degree in Graphic Design. I missed working with my hands and oddly enough I missed pottery and didn’t have access to the supplies at the time. I wanted to play with texture and stumbled into the world of embroidery art.

My mind didn’t seem to stop and I was creating stacks of embroidery hoop art by the week! I decided to start selling my finished work and eventually patterns so people could create along with me. My inspiration comes from nature and my love for botanicals, landscapes, and all kinds of creatures.

After exploring other jobs, I decided to focus on my fiber art full time.  I am so thankful to have a deeply supportive and kind husband who has been my champion in me taking my art and creativity to new heights.I chose to sell my finished embroidery pieces and eventually patterns so that others could create along with me.

My embroidery became a way to share my art and connect with people in a way that I had never imagined. This has become the absolute best part of my business!  I am doing what I love, making patterns, sharing it with people and connecting with others by sharing my story, all through my business.
