PDF PATTERN ONLY. NOTHING PHYSICAL WILL BE SHIPPED TO YOU.
✄ This Valentine peony pattern comes with two versions, one original and one simplified. They also make a nice pair if you choose to stitch both! This is my February 2021 Pattern for my monthly pattern subscription, Flourish Club.
✄ This pattern is a collaboration with a lovely Art Deco, Art Nouveau, French inspired illustrator and designer. I’m so thrilled to introduce you to Brittany Bouyer. I reached out to Brittany about a collab where I would turn one of her illustrations into an embroidery pattern and she came back with this stunning Art Nouveau halo peony pattern. Finely detailed and intricate, this pattern comes with two versions and is packed with instructions and illustrations to help you along the way. You’ll learn more about Brittany inside the pattern, and you can even purchase the original print here.
Here is what is included in the pattern:
Included in the downloads:
❶ The 6 and 7 inch traceable template pattern
❷ Detailed, comprehensive instructions for making your piece
❸ How to transfer your pattern to fabric
❹ Extensive color guide
❺ Extensive stitch guide
❻ Essential supply list
❼ My favorite tips and tricks
(A traceable template, the list of supplies, and instructions to make your pattern from start to finish are included in this PDF.
Here’s a YouTube video I made showing you how to take your pattern from the PDF to your fabric: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ar5eWWBPLkU)
What do you need besides the PDF? I list my favorite supplies in the pattern itself, but here are the basics:
✄ 6 strand embroidery floss/thread
✄ An embroidery hoop. This pattern calls for a 6 inch hoop and a 7 inch hoop but you can zoom in or out for a different size.
✄ Scissors. For fabric and smaller snips (if you prefer) for the thread.
✄ Fabric. I like using 100% cotton. Just make sure you aren’t using material that is too stretchy or has a loose weave like burlap.
The pattern itself is for a 6 inch hoop, but it can be zoomed in or out on your computer to change sizes.
Feel free to experiment with color! I include a color guide but ultimately this project is for you so have fun with it.
This pattern was originally made for Flourish Club, my monthly pattern subscription in September 2020. Here is a link if you want to sign up and enjoy a new embroidery project delivered to your inbox every month!
Reminder that nothing will be shipped to you. All items are in digital format to be downloaded by you after purchase.
