Sometimes I thrift my fabric, ideally a linen blend or 100% cotton. I use DMC products for my needles and thread and I get my hoops wherever I can find a sturdy, well made hoop. It’s usually quite a hunt!
To know more about the products I use, you can purchase an instant download pattern and get all of my instructions and tips. Visit my Shop Patterns page to pick out your new project!
Do you sell finished embroidery pieces?tgsupport2020-10-08T19:15:16+00:00
You will be charged upon sign up. After sign up, everyone is charged on the 1st of the next month. Example: If you sign up on May 6th, you’ll be charged immediately. Then you’ll be charged on June 1st, July 1st, etc. And each time you’ll get a brand new project!
How long is the commitment to this subscription? Am I stuck once I sign up?tgsupport2020-10-02T21:29:40+00:00
Of course not! You can cancel anytime. If you’re signing up for that month’s pattern because you saw it and love it, I’d encourage you to stick around for next month’s pattern as well. It’s a great way to try new things!
Can I buy the month’s pattern separately from the subscription?tgsupport2020-10-02T21:29:09+00:00
You officially can, yes! It will be available for the duration of the month on my “Shop Patterns” page for $15. But subscribers get random perks like bonus patterns, shop coupons and specials and more! I’m always growing my ideas and benefits for subscribers so stick around if you want the really good stuff!
How do I know what each new pattern will look like?tgsupport2020-10-02T21:28:45+00:00
You can check out my Instagram @maggiejosstudio to get a feel for what my art usually looks like. You can expect LOTS of botanicals, anything found in nature, animals, landscapes, bugs and more! I do my best to make a pattern the most possible people will love, so no worries there!
Can multiple people share your patterns? My friend wants to try! And can I sell my finished project?tgsupport2020-10-02T21:28:13+00:00
The quick answer, definitely not. I’ve worked to keep this subscription affordable so that it’s worth your time and mine. Each subscription is made for your own personal use and not for distributing or reselling. Same goes with the finished product, do not sell your finished product. Under no circumstances does anyone have permission to sell any part of this pattern or the finished product.
Where can I find my pattern after I sign up?tgsupport2020-10-02T21:27:36+00:00
Nope! If you sign up in October, you get October’s pattern! Then on the 1st of the next month you would receive the next new pattern. Everyone who signs up for the subscription will be charged upon checkout, and then again on the 1st of the next month.
I’ve never embroidered before or even picked up a needle! Can I do this??tgsupport2020-10-02T21:00:19+00:00
The embroidery patterns you receive during the monthly subscription are packed full of information, illustrations and more. You’ll see photos and text instructing you on how to mount your hoop, how to trace your pattern onto the fabric and how to thread your needle. When I’m working on each pattern I have newbies in mind with every step. One of my favorite things about embroidery is that multiple people with ranging skill sets could do the same pattern and each one would be COMPLETELY different. You can be as complicated or as simple as you want.
What supplies will I need to get started?tgsupport2020-10-02T20:58:21+00:00
When you login to your account to find your new pattern of the month, you’ll be able to download the pattern and see the complete list of things you’ll need and my favorite brands and versions of them will be included in the pattern PDF. But basically, you’ll need: six strand embroidery floss, fabric, scissors & embroidery snips, pen/pencil/water soluble pen, an embroidery needle, and a size 6 wooden/bamboo/plastic embroidery hoop.
What comes with this subscription?tgsupport2020-10-02T20:43:05+00:00
When you sign up for the $10.00 subscription, you are getting pages (between 15-25) of instructions designed specifically for that month’s pattern. How to transfer the pattern to your fabric, the different stitch guides, illustrations on how to stitch, a layout of what materials you will need, color guides for every color I used in every version I made, and of course the traceablepattern template. You will also have access to purchase any of the retired patterns from past months. A quick reminder that this is a digital PDF pattern that gets sent to your email. Nothing will be shipped to you, and there are no refunds.
